Taking the tube (a rare occurrence) down to David Gill Gallery today and had to check out 23 King Street just around the corner. Awesome to see it completed and in the flesh - near identical to our renders! check them out here
Barcelona Pavillion - Mies van der Rohe
With friends visiting Europe, and a long (rare) hot summer endured in London with no break, plans were made for Italy, Spain & France. I had been to Barcelona a few times before but unfortunately missed the pavilion both times.
The pavilion is wonderful case study for an visualiser. The falls of light, the use of water and reflection to create depth and movement. The aging of stone and how its shifted and moved over time. As in life, nothing is ever so immaculate or perfect - at least not for very long.
